Apple Thunderbolt display is making my CPU for my computers run hot !!!

When connecting my Apple Thunderbolt display screen to my MacBook Pro 13" , the MacBook gets ridiculously hot. I have also tried connecting my Mac Mini to my Thunderbolt display and it gets hot as well. Is there any fix for this problem? The Thunderbolt has no other connections coming in, so its only the display itself.
