As a man from Mexico my first language is Spanish. I do not speak English, however I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
Once you have downloaded the movie to the iPad, you do not need an internet connection to view it.
Yes, it should play in airplane mode.

Jul 19, 2012 7:19 AM in response to Jstaud63by Dah•veed,When you download a rental movie, you then have 30 days to view it. If you start the movie, you then only have 24 hours to view the movie. When either clock hits the zero hour, the movie will disappear from your video library. You may view the movie as many times as possible, once the 24 hour clock has been started.

- I would download the rented movie
- Test it out for at least 2 mins while in airplane mode.
