why does it get hot

Why did Lisa always crash, and perform under the AppleII ?

When Marketing decisions over-ride that from Engineering....

No cooling.. apple rejection of engineers design with active cooling fan.. and then placing the bottom mat to half cover the only ventilation holes it does have.. what hope does it have??

New gen3 and gen4 are better than gen1 and gen2. It should last its total warranty time.. if you happen to have applecare.. I suspect it is designed to die 3 days later.. I did say 2 days in the past.. but Hackintosh took me to task.. so we call it the 3:3 program now.. 3 years and 3days.
