I just installed the Windows 7 on my MacBook Air 10.6.8.
I would like to install the Microsoft Office 2007 with my installer disc, however, it didn't run itself.
I open the setup installer but it stated "it is not a proper win32 application."
Anyone can help?

Maybe you used a 64bit DVD on a 32bit Operating System.
This set of Windows 7 (32 bit) and Office 2007 had been successfully installed to my desktop computer previously. (The desktop computer is now installed with 64 bit Ultimate and Office 2010).
I just fix it.
The problems is coming from the Devices but not the software.
In the top menu bar, click the parallel desktop icon, then select "devices" and select "CD/DVD".
Click to select the DVD ROM that will let the Windows recognise the DVD ROM as local device instead of network device. Windows is then able to recognise the "setup" installer.
In other words, all devices plug into MacBook, if you would like them to be recognised by Windows in parallel desktop mode, you have to click and select them.
