How can I edit movies shot with my iPhone in iMovie on my iPad

Hi
I often shoot videos on my iPhone 4S. I would love to edit everything on my iPad 2. Is there an easy way to sync these devices since the Photostream is not including vids?

Then import to your iPad & edit away.

I've got this kit. But I'd like to transfer the movies from my iPhone to my iPad. As far as I understand the kit supports only SD-Cards and USB.
