2011 Macbook Air trackpad sticking

I've read online that the Macbook Air can occassionally have problems with sticking where the cursor moves erradically or highlights everything on the screen, however this isn't the case for my Air. It registers my scrolling and movement, but when I click, it requires more force to recognize the click. The trackpad is also no longer making a "clicking" noise when I press it. Because of the extra force needed, double clicking is very difficult if not impossible. This happened once before and seemed to go away on its own, but the trackpad feels locked up and I was wondering if anyone had any solutions or advice. Thanks.
