I have a personal iCloud account, but would like to set up an iCloud account for my business that I can share between my associates. A tech at the appple store suggested it, but now I'm unsure if or how to do it. Any suggestions?

Yes you can use more than one iCloud account, however you can only have one primary iCloud account.
Secondary accounts can be added at system preferences >mail, contacts & calendars. Note, secondary accounts can only use mail, contacts, calendars and cannot utilise things like photo stream.

I tend to do a lot of my posting whilst I am working, sometimes I can finish a post, take a phone call and 30 minutes later hit the reply button only to find out 3 or 4 people have already answered. 😀
