Cannot see Apple tv 2nd generation when Using remote application with iPhone or iPad. It was workingsometime ago I have not chance settings.

Have you got home sharing turned on on your AppleTV?
Home sharing is turned on. The menu to add a remote device (iPod / iPhone/ iPad) is greyed out in the apple tv's Remote menu (settings / Remote). I had this option working a while ago, not sure what has happened.
On settings/general/remotes add remote menu for iPhone and iPod touch remotes is greyed out. Any suggestion?
There is no Apple TV icon showing on the Remote screen of iPhone/iPod, only the iTunes library. Home sharing is turned on. All Sftwr turned on.
