BlueSkyGraySky Level 1 Level 1

When at home, I can link my iPhone Mobile Keynote App to my PowerMacPro (using OS 10.7.4); however, when at a Starbucks or at "Third Workplace" using their WiFi, I get a "not connected" message-even though both devices are on the network. Is the signal just too weak? — too many subscribers?

Thanks for your help,

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Many times when in a public network businesses add a form of protection to their customers. This level of security is called Isolation. It basically creates a barrier between you and the rest of the users inside that network. Thus said, your keynote remote won't be able to find Keynote on your Mac.
