my nano 6G Turns off and refuses to turn on

the only way it turns on is by me holding the minus button and power button at the same time. Then when it comes on the battery shows charged.

But then it only lasts for a little while. Then i have to hold the minus button and power again to get it back on... Anybody has any ideas???

Please help...

I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but since you have already done the hard reset, it might be worth to try a complete restore of the device in iTunes. This procedure wipes all content from the device, resets all settings back to their defaults, and reloads a fresh copy of the iPod's software onto the device. Restoring the iPod will help eliminate any potentation software glitches or corrupted data.
