I'm trying to eject my kindle from my Mac mini and having no luck. It does not appear to even recognize that it is there, but the kindle keeps telling that I have to eject it for it to work. It is charging, so it is connected.
Mac mini (Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.4)
No experience, but you may need to let it finish charging... it doesn't show on the Desktop?

It has been plugged in for 3 days, I hope that its charged by now, but good thought. No, it doesn't show up anywhere on the desktop...yes. but thanks.
Shutdown & restart the Mac.
No, still doesn't show up, the kindle still wants me to eject it.
Hmmm, might try unplugging the Kindle when the Mac is shutdown.
Disregard everything that has been said to date. It is not that complicated.
From "Finder," click on "Go" and then "Computer." Under "Devices" you'll see "Kindle" with an eject icon next to it. Click on it and . . . voila! Suddenly your Kindle will come back to life and you'll be able to use it while it's still charging.
