About a month ago I was set up for Apple email.   I have really enjoyed using it, but all of a sudden, I am getting calls from friends and family they are trying to send me emails, but they are getting messages that I am unavailable and they aren't able to send it to me.  I have not done anything different since being set up for the Apple account but in the last 5 days, I have only received 2 emails.

    Did you set it up under Mobile Me?  If so you need to migrate the email to iCloud.  Try this link.

    I believe it must have been as it was done at the computer store.  And they told me I was all set with my email.  I have had pretty good luck with it up until the last couple of days.

    Not only am I not able to recieve emails in my Apple Mobile Me email account, when I send out an email, those recipients are trying to reply to my email and their emails are coming back to them stating I am not able to receive emails at this time.   Why is this happening all of a sudden??????

    Try logging into the iCloud account here. Send yourself an email.  This should verify that you are using the right uname/password.


    The verify your settings in Apple Mail and follow this article.


    If all else fails, try deleting and re-adding your account.
