Right side of page Cut OFF??

Ever since I upgraded my tri-fold Brochures get cut off on the right side of my page. Doesn't seem to matter which printer I use or how I set margins. Print preview shows whole document but the printed page still gets cut off. Please help I have tried everything and run out of ideas.

Thanks
Larry

Hello Larry,

can you give us a few more details about your printer and about the layout you have used? We have a thread about a similar problem a few weeks ago and there it was the problem of the printer.

If you are using an ink printer, there is a good chance that these printers have a wider margin at the border, which will leave the printer last. You can check this by showing the layout guides (menu: "View/Show Layout") in Pages. The gray frame at the pages borders shows the none printable margin. If a part of your layout will be covered by it, this will not be printed.

Frank.

The trailing edge of the paper as it comes through the printer is usually left blank on older printers because of the way the paper fed through. A blank right hand side can come from several things.

Turn on your View Layout. The area the printer will not print in is going to be grey. This will depend on your printer, so see if there is an option for your printerto print borderless.

As well, I had an issue a while ago where my Pages just started using Metric paper sizes instead of the US aper sizes. A4 is about a half inch longer, so I was getting the same thing happening. Would you mind checking to ensure your paper size in Page Setup is set to LTR and not A4? That's the first thing that comes to mind.
