How do I save a custom template in Numbers '09?

I have done this successfully in the past but cannot do it now. After creating a template, I have tried following the directions:

File > Save as Template

but there is no folder named My Templates in which to save the file. The specified path:

Library/Applications Support/iWork/Numbers/Templates/My Templates

does not exist. This is as far as I get:

Library/Applications Support/iWork '09 (with 2 subfolders, neither of which seems appropriate)

Thanks in advance for any help I receive with this!

As Jerry said, you should not need to find the My Templates folder. Choosing Save As Template from the File menu in Numbers (or Pages) will automatically select that folder. If the path doesn't already exist it will be created the first time you choose to save a template. Here is a screenshot of the save window when I choose Save As Template in Numbers.

Should you want to delete any templates you have created or want to place any you have downloaded in the My Templates folder you will need to navigate to the folder. You are looking in the main HD Library folder not your user/home Library. In Lion the user Library is hidden & you need to go to Finder & hold down the Option key while clicking the Go menu to reveal it.
