how to move windows that are partially off-screen

Ok, I've come across this a couple times now and it's really annoying. An app I was using came up with its window title bar behind (or above?) the Mac menu bar, making it impossible for me to move this window. In Snow Leopard I could move it via Spaces, but in Lion I can't find a solution - other than to download some third-party app. Is this yet another case where Apple has unwittingly lost some functionality in its zest to "simplify"Mac OS X? I say it again - Mission Control really stinks compared to Snow Leopards Spaces/Expose(right name?) - I hope Mountain Lion brings back some of the lost functionality in some way.

Thanks for all info,

Tom

Open the AppleScript Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run a script similar to:

tell application "AppleScript Editor"

set bounds of window 1 to {-1, 22, 603, 675}

end tell
