Flash Player

I downloaded Flash Player 7 from mac.oldapps.com for Mac OS 9.2.2 but the installer can't seem to find any browser. It says it can't find Internet Explorer (I have the last Mac version), Netscape (I also have that) or Mozilla (I technically don't have this but I have its sister Classilla.). Last I knew Flash Player is simply a plugin that is independent of the browser so shouldn't I be able to install it regardless? Does anybody know how I can get this older Flash Player to work with Classilla? I ask because I want to squeeze as much functionality as I can from this classic Mac.

PowerBook G3 Lombard, 333mhz, 512meg RAM, Mac OS 9.2.2.
