iPod Touch 4th Generation (iOS 5.1) won't update/install certain apps.

I am having trouble installing and updating certain apps (using the iPod, not computer).

I managed to update a few apps but when I try to update certain apps (like Subway Surfers), I get the error message 'Cannot connect to iTunes store'

The same message pops up when I try to download new apps (like Tap Tap Revenge)

Does anyone have a solution to this, please?

However, it may be an Apple server problem since other have posted with the same problem.
