Can I charge an iPod Classic 3G with the Apple USB power adapter?

I have just buy an iPod Classic 3G with 15 GB (SN JQ4239GQQQF) from ebay.

I have read that it's posible to sync it with my PC with Windows 7, but, It is not possible

to charge it by usb.


I could charge it with the Apple USB power adapter?

With that particular model, only the Firewire cable and connection will provide power to the device. The USB cable is only for syncing.
