Exporting footage with some slow motion

I shot 50fps footage on a Canon 550d/T2i DSLR and imported to a 50fps FCPX project. I slow motioned some of the footage to half speed. I wish to upload to YouTube at 25fps. I own Compressor 4. If I do a simple export at 25fps will that half the frames of my current slow motioned footage in the project, or will the software intelligently know to only half the frames of the footage that is at normal speed? Thank you.

Export at 25fps and the material will be normal speed at half the frame rate.

If you want to use 50fps for slomo you should edit in a 25fps project and use the conform function to slow down the video.
