Will iDVD run on os Mountain Lion? Please Help

Hello to start out telling you what computer i have. It is a mac book pro 13 inch (2012 Model) with a intel i7 with 8gb of ram running os Lion. Ok so i was wondering if os Mountian Lion will run iDVD because for me it is a heavily used program. I contacted apple and a man on the line said it would run it but i just want to make sure. I have iLife 11 that came preinstalled without idvd. I took iDVD from an old mac by locating all the files and placing them in the exact location on my new mac.
