Aug 31, 2012 3:44 AM in response to sandra hannahby DKW hutch,I have the same problem.
I have done a full restore, still have same problem.
I have searched & searched the net but can not find a solution that works.
Apple have not come up with a solution either.

May 9, 2014 12:33 PM in response to DKW hutchby venturexpo,I have an iPhone 3Gs and it is doing the very same thing. I've tried pretty much every thing and it seems that no one here has the real solution to this problem. I also tried to do the Restore thing via iTunes and the iTunes website says to do something but my computer dosen't react the same as shown. The "Restore" button doesn't show up on iTunes even though it's connected to my iPhone via my MacBook Pro. Very puzzled over this and been a 25 year Mac user. Geezus...:-)
