Q: New MacPro server can run headless?
I am about to pull the trigger on a new MacPro server with Lion server. I assume after I use a monitor/keyboard for initial setup like I have done with my Mini server, that I can put this beast in a rack and run it headless? It will not complain about no keyboard or monitor on power up?
thanks in advance.

Yep - the system doesn't care about a monitor or keyboard to run.
Most tasks can be performed via ssh over a network connection. You also have a built-in VNC server which you can use with any of the VNC clients out there, or Apple's Remote Desktop application.
