How to fix a disabled Ipad?

My ipad is disabled permanently and I need help unlocking it. It says to connect it into Itunes, but when i did it didnt work because it says to unlock the passcode in order to get into Itunes. My 3-year old niece kept on putting in the wrong passcode which made my ipad disabled. And since this is a new ipad, I wasn't able to sync it yet into my computer. It wont allow me to do anything. I cant even type in my passcode or plug it into Itunes. Please help. Thanks

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode

1. Turn off iPad

2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone

3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad

4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen

5. Release the Home button

6. Open iTune

7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"

8. Use iTune to restore iPad

Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.

Hi there,

I have forgotten my passcode. I have also lost the tries. My iPad is disabled now. I tried to restore it with iTunes. I have never syncronized it before to any computer.

I have started restoring it, followed the steps, but with no luck.

After I saw the Connect to the iTunes screen, I pluged the cable, thefollowed the prompts. It starts for a few minute, then the Connect to iTunes screen disappears, and the normal screen with "the iPad is disabled" is displayed. The iTunes page is still working and the (Downloading1 item) is still working. It says it needs 5 hours, the downloading lines is on progress, but not sure if I haveto wait?

I have updated the iTunes in my computer. However, nothing has changed.

What do you think I should do?

Notice: My iPad is still under waranty. I got it a few months ago from Myer (Brisbane). Now I am overseas (Saudi Arabia) and will not go back to Bribane until (probably) later in the future.

Cheers,

Mohammad
