I just keep getting Password incorrect and when i put the new password in it still tells me that

Where's the answer to MarieElisabeth's question? I changed my password on my Hotmail email account last night. This morning could not use any IPad function as the password(s) I try in the password request for the Exchange Account "Hotmail" are all incorrect. I cannot access settings and even "rebooting" the IPad by turning it off and turning it back on doesn't help get rid of the password request action window. Any other suggestions?

Sorry not to be more helpful about this discussion - am a new learner - well - I think eventually I just turned it off properly and waited and then turned it on and put in my new password and it worked...and I am just realising here that I am not replying to you but to me so you see....or not as the case may be
I'm having the same problem... If someone has an answer, I would appreciate knowing it.
Happens to me when I have to change my work email password every month. It keeps asking for new, but says incorrect. What I have to do every time is remove the work email from my iPad in settings, mail accounts....then add it back on. Then it works like a gem again. I don't know why, but that's what I end up doing to fix it.....
Keep hitting cancel while working your way to removing the account. That I had to do once because I kept getting pop ups
I'm having the same problem - as soon as I turn my iPhone on I get the message "Password Incorrect - Enter the password for the Exchange account "Hotmail". If I enter it, I'm told it's wrong (and it's not), but I can hit Cancel forever and nothing happens. Help! I'm dead in the water!
Once I tured my ipad all the way off it stared to work again as well. Thanks Marie
Nobody seems to have the solution for this problem.
I'm having the same...when I open my IPad, I unlock and there's this pop up that says quote password incorrect enter exchange hotmail account password unquote.
Whatever password I enter, old or new, I'm always back to the same pop up.
Can anyone provide a staight answer to this mishap?
Bingo, I got out of the loop. Accidently and by pure chance, while the pop up was on requesting my password which was always incorrect (even though I know it is correct), I pressed the search key on the keypad for 10 seconds and my IPad came to life. I don't what happened but it works...I'm back to business as usual..
Hope this will help others stuck with the same predicament which is a source of much frustration..
