Q: Can I change apps while the Photo app is importing photos? In other words, does this feature support multi-tasking?

Just wondering if when importing photos from a SD card to the iPad, one can change from the photo app to another app and leave e photo import working on the background, as multi-tasking.

iPad, iOS 5.1.1
