But why if you're running 10.6 do you need to do this? AW works fine in 10.6 with Rosetta.
(BTW, you're in the older iMac PPC forum.)

Jul 22, 2012 1:01 PM in response to Skip2Rby Cattus Thraex,I am afraid batch conversion is not possible (there was such an app in Classic Mac OS, I forgot its name). There are two basic methods: open files in Pages (if word processing files) and save them in .pages format. Or export them as rtf or doc in Appleworks. Make some tests and see which fits you best. Note that any import and any export loses something, so test and decide.
If you have many such files (hundreds, thousands...) the operation may be particularly tiresome, but—again—I am afraid there are not many choices around.
A 3rd way may be to run that batch converter in Mac OS 8-9, and make the conversion there, this may be the best method if you have many such files. (I will revert if I recall the name of that app, am not at home and cannot dig deeper into my old collection of apps).
