Q: Data overload.

Would my iPad try to upload/download my photo stream if it was connected to my iPhone's personal hotspot?

Thanks for responding. Although I realize that the personal hotspot works with wifi it also works with Bluetooth. If I turn off wifi on my iPad I am still able to connect to my iPhone's personal hotspot using Bluetooth. I also notice that the symbol at the top left hand corner of my iPad changes to the personal hotspot symbol (as well my iPhone displays that there is one connection). My wireless carrier will not alow me to transfer any data right now (because I'm not paying to tether). I would like to be able to use my iPad with my iPhone's personal hotspot. Because it is possible to connect using Bluetooth, would photo stream still try to transfer pictures. Because my iPad realizes that it's connected to my iPhone's personal hotspot, is it smart enough to not use up all my data with photo stream?
