Q: FaceTime activation

Im having trouble activating FaceTime on my iPad. Any other way to fix it besides to create a new apple ID and turning off and on wifi?

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

If you read through here several people are reporting problems reaching both the FaceTime and iMessage servers. I would wait awhile or call AppleCare, seems to be an issue on Apple's end.

Is this your first time attempting to activate FaceTime?
