Q: ipod plays but no menu display

my ipod plays but i cannot see anything on the display. I have reset it, saw the apple logo but still no display. how to I reset it back to normal.

iPod nano, serial no 7j737t3cyxx

    Hello,.. You've probably reset your "Backlight" function to not show at all,... Take the iPod into a well lit area,.. Maybe a florescent (brightest lighting area) and you should be able to see the information on the iPod. Get it to the "main menu> settings> backlight>,.. Then adjust it to the "Seconds" timeout, or No timeout,.. I hope this helps.
