Q: Has anyone else received error 1434 when restoring their iPod classic.

I can't seem to restore my iPod classic. I get the above error message...a little help?

iPod classic, iOS 5.1.1

It doesn't contain your exact erorr number, but perhaps something here will help.
iPod: Cannot restore or update in iTunes with error 1415, 1417, 1418, 1428, 1429, 1430, 1436, or 1439

Be sure to carefully work through each every suggestion. Also, make sure you are plugging the iPod into a high powered USB port on the Mac itself and not through a USB hub.
