Artists not showing up in music on iPhone

When I open Music on my iPhone, some of the artists don't show up on the alphabetical list of artists. When I search them though, they do show up? How can I get them to show up in the alpha list of artists?

Sorry, this advice is not very useful, as of iOS 10.3.3, this option is not found under Settings -> Music.

This can happen when you have artists that are not also listed as Album Artists on the tags for the songs these artists and you have Group By Album Artist set to On. Try going to Settings>Music and turning Group By Album Artist to Off and see if they appear now.
