I just purchased Final Cut Pro X, and in my applications folder, I still have the trial version of FCP. Can I simply trash the trial version, or do I need to do anything to make sure all the videos I've cut with the trial version have been transferred?

Your projects and events are entirely separate from the FCP X app so you can trash it leaving all your work intact.

Yes, you can put the trial version in the trash, but I would not empty the trash until you open the full version and make sure it sees all your projects and events. Everything should be just fine, but there have been a few reports of projects or events not showing up.

hi the womandirector, i have a question. i download and use the Trial and I watch some training videos and youtube, is the "Share" has it's own menu or is it still a dropdown menu in "File". May I know where is the "Share" now in the Full version that you buy.

Share is in the file menu and also a share button in tool bar on the right end.
