iTunes match does not support XP! You need vista or windows 7 for imatch.

I had no trouble until yesterday, but I see that very many people have the same problem. There is nowhere in the system that says it does not support XP. Like I said it worked fine until yesterday and the crashes started. I have read in other discussions that we have to stop the match when it reaches step 3. This does stop the crash, but doesn't fix how we continue to update the library. I added a few things to my iTunes library and would like to add them to my cloud storage. The rest is already there.

I have read elsewhere that some people have used match with XP successfully but they were having more and more problems with each upgrade of iTunes.
Have you tried removing the tracks that are still waiting to be matched or uploaded. There may a track that is causing the problem. Once you have removed outstanding track update imatch. If this works, gradually add the tracks back a few at a time.

Thank you very much .. and of course it says right there Vista or later, but your idea must have worked. I removed 2 tracks that were erroring off and it is currently working like a charm, or as much like one as it can. I really appreciate it. I usually read ALL of the requirements, but I still have a great system that truly exceeds most requirements so I didn't even think of the OS being outdated.
