How do you save a website to your favorites?

click on "bookmarks" and and select "bookmark this page" or "add Bookmark" depending on the web browser you are using.

Bookmarks Bar or Bookmarks Menu? I want them to pop up in order, top to bottom under "Bookmarks" instead they are going across top of page. Thsnk you.

Let me try to clarify- When visiting a web site do I click the "+" symbol to add ( like making a favorites list) ? and which one do I select? I have chosen both and they do not show up on the left side under the word "bookmarks". I have a newer Macbook AIr ( purchased about 6 mths. ago). Thanks and sorry- new learner. 🙂
The easiest way is to just drag the icon from the URL window to the list.
