hey i want to get the old song from my old 3gs which i never back up but right now i am bought to do it will i lose it all when i try to back it up
All content on your device should be in the iTunes library on your computer.
Backing up an iPhone or any iOS device is irrelevant as the backup has never contatined media.
well it was on my old laptop which been formatted now i am using now on my new computer which i want to do so will it erase if i back it up here
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?

well my mother fone and the song on it but i basically did it once but computer got virus i had reformat computer but ever since then i could not do it so i am basically asking
if i do the backing up now on new computer would i be sure that song that on there be transfer to the main computer

If this song is an iTunes purchase you can always download it again.
