Q: How do you connect apple tv to wireless router if apple tv is only being used on a stereo receiver and not a tv?

I want to connect apple tv to my home stereo to play music. How do I get the apple tv to connect to my wireless network? Can I view. It through my iPad or do I have to have it connected to a television?

Connect it to a tv. Setup the wireless, then your good to go. Every time you turn it on from then on it should connect to the wireless.
