Q: Magic Triangle With Lion Clients
Hi All,
I have a magic triangle setup which has been working fine now with a Snow Leopard server and Leopards clients for a few years. I have been tasked to get Lion clients working with the setup.
The Lion clients, however, are not mounting their home directories.
I have made the changes in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4700 re legacy afp shares but I'm still having no joy.
In the server's afp log I get the following for one of the Leopard clients during login :
IP 10.5.1.61 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:17:21 0000] "Login dome" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.61 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:17:42 0000] "OpenFork com.apple.MCX.plist" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.61 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:17:43 0000] "OpenFork com.apple.MCX.plist" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.61 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:17:43 0000] "OpenFork com.apple.MCX.plist" 0 0 0
dome is my AD/Augment username so all is good.
When I login on a Lion client I get :
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:28 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:29 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:29 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:30 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:31 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:31 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:32 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
IP 10.5.1.210 - - [24/Jul/2012:10:15:33 0000] "Login <Guest>" 0 0 0
It seems to be attempting to connect as guest.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks
Mac OS X (10.7.4)
