Q: Do I need to delete songs from my ios device after listening to them?

Once songs are downloaded from the cloud to my device will I need to delete them later?  And where can I see which songs are on my device?

At the present time, when you stream music from iTunes Match it downloads the songs to your device.  (This will change later this fall when iOS 6 is introduced, which will support streaming without downloading.)  Unfortunately, there isn'ta an easy way to locate all songs that have been downloaded to your phone.  You can either scroll through the song list to see which songs don't have the download icon next to them (indicating they have already been downloaded to your device), or you can delete them all by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music...tap Edit, then tap next to All Music.

You can easily see which tunes have been downloaded to your mobile device by going to settings> music> show all music> off. This will ensure that only music downloaded to your mobile device is displayed in your music app.
