I can not get AirPlay connected
I have all products connected to the same network, but can not get the airplay symbol on my iPad. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you enabled airplay on the Apple TV? Are both devices up to date?
Yes and yes....could it be my router....
Could be, try rebooting or look at the manual for troubleshooting. It's definitely something in the network that is preventing it.

What a friggin joke, the reason I bought and apple TV and upgraded to mountain lion was for this feature but I have a late 2009 iMac.........
Mid 2010 macbook pro's have been excluded from airplay mirroring. I bought an apple tv just for this. Time to send it back. How annoying.
I had the same problem immediately after installing Mountain Lion today. I rebooted my modem (doubt that had anything to do with it), turned on Internet Sharing and Voila! Hope this works for you.
May want to try airparrot before you do
I can understand older mac not have the power for airplay, but ***** anyway.
