Bluetooth keyboard connections - activation

I have a Cygnett Lavish Connect Folio Case with Bluetooth keyboard which is not being recognised by my iPad 3. Tried all the 'trouble shooting' suggestions but no luck. Anybody been able to get this to work? If so what should I do?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 5.1.1
