Hi,
I managed to get my up to date code via the email in a password protected PDF.
I promptly opened the file and tried to use the code on the app store immediately, but it is telling be that the code has been used already!!
Has anyone else seen this issue at all, could it just be related to the volume of of requests at the moment?

It might be that servers are extremely busy. Try again later.
If that were the case I would expect a red error message that says "servers are not responding. try again later". This error message explicitely says the code as already been used.
To be honest I would be expecting a different error as well, but i guess it could be volumes. Time will tell I guess.
Kind of a good sign that others are getting it as well though. well, when i say good i mean slightly reassuring. heh
Same error with my redemption code for my macbook air.
I got the exact same thing tried twice. Said code had already been used...??
Same issue here. I submitted a support request to the App Store folks. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

I just spoke to a customer service rep and they said there was a problem with the codes and we will get an email sometime today/tomorrow with instructions to get the update.

I am gettng the same issue, have reported to apple, will wait to see. I will persist!! 😟
No problem. Yeah I hope so too.
Well they will be bombarded with emails asking ***!!! I asked them about the code as well. Not a good start for them.
Heck yeah! $20 might not be a ton of money, but it's the principle for me at this point. 🙂
