Mountain Lion redemption code has already been used

just called apple...looks like they don't care....he told me apple is giving prioroty to peoplw who pays first. doesn't matter if you buy a macbook worth $2500 just a month back..

and putting server on our purchases is not helping

I am a UK customer who has also received an OS X Server code!!! These lot are F-ing idiots i must say!!!!

Finally, after discussing with customer rep for half an hour, he agrees to give me refund if I pay to get the mountain lion from app store.

So I will have to buy it anyway. I am afraid that if I buy then I will again have issue getting refund 😟

I'm not going to buy it,, I'll wait for more 2 days,, already paid $2400 for MacBook Pro 15

I purchased my MacBook Pro on 23rd July.....i cant afford to buy Mountain Lion...and if i wanted to buy it I would have already bought it on launch date...why did i wait? I will wait more 24 hrs...Apple please send me the right code this time.

Just got my code after almost 30 hour wait... Yep. Attempts to download Mountain Lion Server. Nice. Now what?

I'm in the UK and have received 2 codes, both of which are showing as used. I have used the tech support form to request a callback only to be told another code will be sent out within 3 days.

Dear Apple, If you are having so much problem generating code, please send us a disk/usb drive to us. You already have our address from iTunes account and from the uptodate form.

Waiting for more than 30 hours... Bought a 1600€ Macbook Air 12 Days ago... My first Mac ever.

Honestly, Microsoft knows how to handle stuff like that. When they released Windows 7, I was able to register my Acer Box about 3 Month before release Date and hat the Downloadlink as well as the Key in my Mailbox at noon on launchday. This is so ridiculous

Anybody else just bought the thing and pursue a refund? I'm sorta at the point of not caring anymore. Say what you want - "it takes time", "be patient", etc. etc. etc. There comes a point where saving the hassle and the time investiment of emails and calls (and posting here!) is more of a waste of time / $$$ than the $20.
