    The long wait is caused by the replacement code already redeemed issue and the queue certainly has skyrocketed so patience my friend, patience.

    Guys if you have entered the code and it said something along the lines of "this code has already been redeemed and is not valid". Go to the mountain lion app page in the app store. It should say download instead of 19.99. You're welcome.

    I've just received a mail after 48+ hours, and it says that they denegate it to me because I didn't bought it in an Authorized resseler, but I bought it in one here in Chile, that appears listed on Apple website :@

    Ok. I've now received 3 more emails, 2 with encrypted PDFs and 1 password. This makes a total of 4 encrypted PDFs and 3 passwords and guess what? NONE OF THEM ARE WORKING.


    At first, it was an amusing SNAFU. Then it became inconvenient. This is now getting insulting. Apple, get your sh1t together.

    I got one email with two codes none of which open the pdf file so I cant even get to the redemtion code !!!!!!!!! says password invailid when i try to open the pdf attached to the email

    Thank you NurieM. Of course, this makes sense, but it would have been much clearer if Apple had mentioned this step in their redemption code email. This kind of convoluted missteps over something very straight forward as this reminds me of another computer software company..........  Hope this is not the future.

    Done after applesupport resend me the new code for ML. i got my ML to download and now installation is done and the ML is very smooth,like my MBP i upgraded the RAM and CPU ML run more faster then before. i suggest all PPL must email the apple support again and again until they resend the new code. i wait 24hours to get the new code . for my first email applesupport not respone and then after 7 hours i resend email again. then after 24 hours i get the content code. now i'm happy, all my friend remember,email and email again to push the applesupport to repaly you as soon as posibble. tq

    @ Marc.H  the link was up before the actual release so 3 x 24 = 72.  That said I did receive the code today.


    Although I already updated without the Appstore the updates also seem to work as I got the SMC update for ML.  So whichever way you install it, it seems to work.


    If we would have had a confirmation email from the beginning stating it would take 72 hours I guess most people wouldn't have made complaints on this forum.  It's the lack of any feedback or info that caused all this frustration.

    Same here. One email, Two codes. No password. Somebody give me a PDF decrypting tool. Lol!


    UPDATE: I stand corrected. Guys, I just input the last working code I received (Yesterday). Which was giving me a credit card-error. I just reinput it and it's downloading now. I am sorry if this doesn't work for you. But give all the codes Apple sent you a re-try. Thank you. I hope it this helps.
