Different looking color after export from final cut X

Hi all,

I'm hoping you can help me out. I completed a project in final cut x version 10.0.5. I did a lot of color correcting and I got the color looking how I would like it to look. Unfortantely, when I go to export out the video the exported version of the video has different looking color. I can actually pull up the final cut video in the timeline and the exported .mov and see the difference in the color?

Any suggestions?

How exactkly are you exporting? Whwre are you looking at the color? Can you post screen shots?

I'm going to the menu bar and selecting share > export media.

In export media I'm leaving everything on current settings, as I would want it to look the same as the video in the timeline.

When it finishes exporting and I open it in quicktime, the color is a little different then the color I observed in the timeline of final cut.

Two other things: are you using the default color display settings in System Prefs and what are the exact specs of the original media.
