mountain lion redemption password

Same problem. I haven't received anything at all. Not even a single Email from apple... smh

I received it after about 15 minutes however the redemption code errored out saying it had alrady been used. Contacted Apple and they guy said it could be the servers are getting slammed right now and to try again later, but I have my doubts 😟

Man, as much as i wanted to contact an Apple reseller store here, I can't. It's 10:30 in the evening. All shops closed.

I am stuck with the same problem. Have been more than 3 hours... Still sitting with the locked pdf and no password.😕

I'm having the same problem. Got the locked PDF about 2 and half hours ago but no password. Called Apple Support and they told me that they can't do anything until it's been over 24 hours since I got the first email.

I had the same error message. such a rubbish message and a rubbish service for a company so loaded with cash surely they can support millions of computers similtaneously. Watch this space for Apple devotees to be highly critical of me! They are also so sad!!

just been told by apple all affected folk will recdive an email today with the new code

you guys are doing better then me i registered 1 hour after the release and its been like 24 hours and still herd nothing

I'm also waiting now on day 2 for the App Store code. It would have been nice if Apple had carved out a small piece of their data center to look-up the users who purchased their new Macs withing the time period and automatically activated the free download for them. This is not rocket science, its the kind of service we have grown to expect from Apple.

C'mon Apple, you are better than this. An intern progreammer could have done this in less than an hour.
