superdrive vs. hard drive
I want to back up my system but I'd also like to play DVDs. Is SuperDrive the way to go or one of the external Hard drives? Is there one that can do both (for less than $100)?
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7)

I went with the super drive and the external hard drive, the Super drive is like $79 and I got a 250 GB on newegg.com for $30. So both I think is the best answer.
a hard drive can not play physical dvd's, but it can store copies of them. And a superdrive can not store data.
I forgot about Newegg.com, Jaren. Definitely will check them out. Thanks! 🙂
Once you know, you newegg!!! I mean, really, I've just bought 16 GB for my mini — Apple doesn't even offer that much memory. And if they did, it would most likely cost like 5 (if not 10) times more.
