Hi,
Ok. So I just delete my icloud account. Then I set it up again. Then I go online and set up a new account or my old one with the old password?
If you set up a new account you won't have the data from the old one, the new account will be empty.
Sign out of your current account and then sign back in (in System Preferences>iCloud), do not open a new account if you want to use the data in the old account.

Feb 23, 2013 12:20 PM in response to Jogin Thakoreby Csound1,They should but I would choose to backup first, do you have a backup?

Feb 25, 2013 3:34 AM in response to Csound1by Lavarcham, yes I agreed to delete and it is unnerving - but like Csound1 says, do back up first.
One more thing - it is nearly a year since I did this and I am no techno so I can't quite remember why I did this but when I reconnected to iCloud I did not check the box for Notes. I think that notes must sync through my Bt Yahoo account. The only thing that matters to me is that since I did the above procedure Notes and everything else works perfectly syncronising between my iMac Mac Air and iPhone. Good luck

Feb 27, 2013 9:37 AM in response to fullmeby NLFord,I know the answer to this:
On each device you have 2 separate Notes accounts: One is "On My Mac" or "On my Phone." The other is "iCloud." What is on your mac or phone will not sycn with iCloud.
This is so you can have some notes that don't sync if you dont want them too.
To see this on your iphone, open a note. Then tap "Notes" in the upper left corner. THen tap "accounts" in the upper left corner. Now you will see the 2 accounts.
It's tedious, but you will have to copy the "On my iPhone" notes into the iCloud accounts. Then all will be fine.
I discovered this when i was trying to figure out why i couldn't put my Outlook email or contacts in the cloud.

Mar 15, 2013 7:04 AM in response to Viper320by Drew Eastmead,still doesn't work for me in 10.8.3
System Preferences > iCloud > check "Notes" and every single time it says "Notes can't be enabled at this time."
This has been an issue for a year now. Exhausting.

Mar 15, 2013 3:18 PM in response to jchwcpaby Jace Cavacini,As i posted in another thread about this topic:
[my statement of it still not working...]
Woops, spoke too soon!!
30 minutes later, while fussing with settings, i checked my iCloud preferences (didn't change anything!!) and it suddenly told me there was no networking. Funny, since i was using Safari and Facebook at that moment and my wireless signal was fine. But, after telling it to troubleshoot, it tells me that my configuration changed (no it didn't) and suddenly the new notes appeared at both the Mac Notes app and the iPhone Notes app. Hm. Tested again... and it apparently DOES WORK!
FINALLY!!
Dunno what the problem was in getting synchronized, but it's doing what they say it's supposed to do, at last.
YAY!!

Mar 17, 2013 3:00 PM in response to fullmeby bigyin8267,Guys, hope you can help. I think I have synced Notes from my iPhone to Macbook Air and looked for them in the Mail app. Only thing is that I don't appear to have a Reminders sub folder (where Notes are supposed to appear!) in my Mail side panel.
Any suggestions on how to get this to appear?
Cheers!

Would they still appear in Notes after having synced my iphone?
Thanks
