I used to use Parallels 6 on Lion and they worked beautifully together... Now that I have Parallels 7 and Mountain Lion, it's a piece of junk.
P7 on SL is fantastic. Thanks for the further incentive to not upgrade to Lion till I have no other choice.

Oct 3, 2012 2:30 AM in response to Trane Francksby saltaroo,Please please fix this apple. I am only getting into the awesomeness of full screen now but that twinned with a fully functioning second monitor really would be mind blowing for my work. Please fix! And yes it is a problem!

Oct 3, 2012 11:45 PM in response to saltarooby Sulaiman.K,Please report to Apple using this link http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
Apple won't see this forum as this forum is for users only there will be no Apple Moderators to acceptance your request and only the best way to do is reporting the issue using the above linked page.
Good Luck.

I hope everyone does the same so we can make ourselves heard.

Oct 6, 2012 6:59 AM in response to gustavo.politanoby simoneisner,Hi,
Has anyone with a valid warranty sent a ticket into Apple? My warranties are all expired. That said I did send in a ticket about iTunes the other day and got a response. So - Apple does respond.
Has anyone tried this route?

Apple will still response if you're out-warranty status but they might charge you for the repairs or help request, If you have extended Warranty (AppleCare) then you wont be charged for repairs or requesting help.
Remember that, Some Apple departments around the world including Apple Reseller, Authorized Store they mightn't accept the query if you're out of warranty because they'll ask you the device serial number and check the status of warranty.
But for iTunes you don't need to be in warranty it's free because they've provided support for users that could be easier and free, Even my device is out-of-warranty and they're still able to help me with the issue.

Oct 27, 2012 11:29 AM in response to slackerbotby grangej,For all those who said windows 8 multi monitor support is good, you obvioyusly havent actually used it. It is just as bad as the nil support , you can only have one real metro app on screen at the time, try to drag it to another monitor then open a second metro app, it will also open in a brand new full screen. Yes maybe full screen with mutli monitor support for a single app, but still no full screen for multiple applications, and it is very confusing.
Both apple and MS havne't got thisone right yet.

Nov 30, 2012 8:58 AM in response to wesbosby littlecharva,I found this post after Googling the issue and I'm pretty disappointed to discover that this is the case. HOWEVER, I have had a small amount of luck at getting this working:
Using XCode 4.5.2 I can have the main window open fullscreen, go to Window -> Organizer, grab it before it goes full screen and drag it to my second monitor. Not as good as being able to have separate apps open, but at least I can make use of the second monitor for something while I'm full screen in XCode. I'll do a bit more experimenting to see what other aspects of XCode I can open on it.

Jan 8, 2013 4:27 PM in response to Phatyby sbatson,Yes, it is very sad that Apple wasn't fixed this. The only saving grace for me on this one is that Parallels works fine maximized and takes up the entire screen with the exception of the window title bar at the top and the parallels controls below. I don't reall mind that so much, easier access to the controls when needed and not much space lost with my 24 inch second monitor or 27" main monitor on my iMac.
Netflix also goes full screen on the second monitor and lets me use the main monitor so it appears this isn't an issue with all apps.

You can configure Parallels Desktop to use its own full-screen mode instead of the OS X native mode. This beautifully gets rid of the frame and gives you a true, fullscreen experience while being able to use the adjacent desktops.

Jan 8, 2013 6:47 PM in response to Trane Francksby sbatson,Yes if you like flickering screens mentioned earlier in the thread. I'm not going to disable other things features for the video so I don't see the frame that doesn't take a lot of space and saves time trying to ge to parallels and mac options. Going maximized on either monitor is a more than acceptable work around for most situations until someone can get the problem fixed properly.
