Can't install Xcode 4.4 from Mac App Store

I have upgraded to Mountain Lion, and now i can't run my current version o Xcode.

However, I cannot upgrade to 4.4 either.

We could not complete your purchase.

Xcode can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because the version of OS X is too new.

I'm running OSX 10.8 on

Macbook pro 13' early 2012

Intel Core i5 2.4 GHz

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion, 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5

Simply delete the preferences plist of the App Store App. (Execute the following command in your terminal)

rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist

rm -r ~/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/com.apple.appstore.savedState

rm -r ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore

rm -r /private/var/folders/*/*/*/com.apple.appstore

Restart the App and you will be able to download Xcode 4.4.

Fixed it for me too!

I'm assuming the problem was caused for people running Mountain Lion and tried to download xcode in the App Store while 4.3 was the only version available in the App Store. I tried earlier today and apple.com said you could get xcode 4.4, but the link went to the only one avaiable--4.3 which isn't Mountain Lion compatible. Found this thread by googling when 4.4 was giving me the same error as 4.3.

I'm using the Mountain Lion on my Macbook pro 13" mid 2012. I have also got a problem when I have downloaded the Xcode 4.5 about 83mb then it stoped download and start back at 73mb up to 83mb, it stoped again. I have no idea what happened but I try serveral way nothing impossble. I got this problem once I download the app quite large like Mountain Lion or Xcode. Can someone let me know how to fix it problem. Thanks!

note: I downloaded the Xcode 4.5 on the Apple Developer website already. However, I also can not Install it with an error given: "Image date corrupted".
