i finally finished downloading and installing mountain lion this afternoon. i went to restart after install and now im locked out. i seem to be locked out by an old find my phone 4digit pin. iv tryed holding cmd and r when booting but it brings up another password which i dont know. please can someone advise me on what to do.

Sorry but why should your computer lock with an iphone pin O.o never heared about naything like that
What looks like is that your computer was locked via icloud, normally beause the computer owner lock the computer when stolen...
Things like this always happen to me :(
I can remember locking it at work when my mate was playing on it so I locked it as I didn't want him on it and he knows my login pin. However it's been fine ever since this was done 5/6 months ago.
I need it for work in the morning :(
If I call apple with my serial number do you think they can help?
No don't think, apple won't help you to unlock a computer locked by a password
if you go an apple authorized center and bring your proof of purchase they may be able to help you
unfortunately if the computer has an open firmware installed you can basically trash it..
